Through it, farmworkers receive a variety of quality donations from the community, including clothing, housewares, toys, and even artwork. While part of our mission to improve the agriculture industry is to “get children out of the fields and into schools”, we also care that our #FarmTeam has the chance to learn. At our farm in the Vizcaíno Desert, we work with Instituto Estatal de Educación para Adultos BCS to provide our team with the opportunity to advance their education. #CultivatePositiveChange
We feel it is important that everyone on our #FarmTeam know their rights and have access to them. For example, in Mexico we help our team utilize the Infonavit federal housing subsidy, which assists them in gaining or improving a home. Our farm in San Quintín recently did this and was also recognized for its commitment to social responsibility. #CultivatePositiveChange
Recruiting H2A Workers and H2B Workers | CIERTO
Providing safe, fair, and open recruitment for our H2A teams, who work in the U.S. seasonally, is one way we #CultivatePositiveChange in agriculture. We want every dollar our #FarmTeam earns to go as far as it can for them. One way we do this at our farm in Watsonville, CA, is by making free healthy food available every month, with help from The Food Bank for Monterey County, to our team of more than 600 there.
