Panadería Rosetta in Ciudad de México My new favorite café around the city. Is beautiful, delicious and cheap. Near reforma and insurgentes which are important avenues. Elena Reygadas is the chef. Won the Veuve Clicquot prize to be the best women chef in latinoamerica. Try the lasagna, croissant with ricotta and spinach, the LEMON RASPBERRY HONEY PIE (my favorite), the vegan cookies and coconut juice.
Bosque de Chapultepec
Picnic at Chapultepec! I found this spot in front of the lake just behind the Starbucks placed on the entrance to the park. Paradero Vernal in Bernal, Querétaro de Arteaga Confortable & Delicious Super clean, suit for families, near La Peña, inside this "Pueblo Mágico" with lots of traditions and rich history. Cheap as $900 pesos the night with breakfast included. For breakfast don't miss the "chilaquiles con cecina" with salsa verde which is not that hot. Excellent view for the beautiful sunsets over la Peña.
