Japanese Gardens are amazing and I was happy to find one fairly close to my house in nearby Tacoma, Washington. Right outside of the Pt. Defiance Zoo is Pt. Defiance Park and I truly had no clue before this day that the park had a Japanese Garden. The Botanical Garden in Bellevue, Washington is obviously much more impressive but this is a nice alternate location.
