M is for majuscule, my favorite form of torture. Writing majuscules can be so hard, and writing it on a large scale (12mm x-height, my challenge for myself) is a pain in the butt. I find the letter M (and A and N) challenging because it begins with a hairline. I still struggle in maintaining the consistency of the the stroke angle when I write. This letter has the most fun way of checking the form! Turn it upside down; if it still looks like a letter N, then you did well. Tip: you can turn the paper to make the (almost) vertical shade.
