Ambrosia Maple Oil Lamp

This lamp was designed by and handmade by Aaron Thomas of Thomas Fine Woodworks. The body of the lamp is made from solid Black Walnut wood and has magnificent and rich color with striking grain pattern. The body is finished with blue on the bottom, with blue, green, and yellow sunburst on top. Inside the body of the lamp is a hand-blown glass reservoir, glass wick insert and cotton wick. This stunning oil Lamp has been hand made by me, using Yorkshire Oak. The Oak was felled just a short walk from my workshop. I have then prepared the wood, and seasoned it for a few years. Before finally creating this unique item. The grain in this piece is amazing showing some amazing patterns The lamp is made from glass and fits inside the wooden holder.
