Ruby Jane’s Bright & Cheery Nursery

To Small Kids, Big Color Contest Page and All EntriesName: Ruby JaneAge: 3 monthsLocation: Tempe, Arizona Color Inspiration: Three months ago, after a long wait and with no notice, we got a call telling us a baby girl was being born across the country and we were chosen to be her parents. Well, there's still a little tweaking to do, and I might add a bit more color after Baby is born, but for now, the nursery is done. I've really been drawn to the "Modern Country" look lately, the mix of old and new... Or the…

Duo Ventures: Organizing: The Linen Closet

Organizing: The Linen Closet

I recently finished organizing the kitchen & now, it's on to the linen closet. It seems that after we moved into our house, all those old linens from our apartment found their way to this closet to die...it was like a graveyard for old curtains, towels, sheets, pillows, & rugs: See what I mean? What you don't see, however, is the plethora of blankets & comforters that we had stored in the other room (since we clearly couldn't fit them in this closet). My goal was to fit all of our blankets…

LOVE this Blanket Ladder! would be great for the living room since I LOVE throws and they definitely clutter the place up if not put away

Use a towel rod on the inside of the linen closet for holding blankets. (this is a good idea for back of guest room door too so if guests need extra blankets, they are easy to find)
