A "HANDY" Way to Learn About Texture Freebie!
Sensory- What a great idea for kids who are learning their sense of touch! Using different objects for the different textures is one way to adapt this activity. For example instead of waxed paper for something smooth, you could use parts of a smooth leaf.
Homemade theater stanchions. Used a 6" square of plywood on bottom. Screw in a wooden dowel to the plywood and cover with a pool noodle. Cut the top off of a 16oz pop bottle for the top of the stand. Use the bottom of the pop bottle to attach to the red pool noodle to make the rope and attach a cup hook to hook it to the stand. Use an eyelet screw on the stand to attach the "rope".
