goodness! it has been at least a couple weeks since i had the pleasure of sharing a bright scandinavian interior with all of you. i feel as if i can remedy the situation today. who doesn't love thonet, original crown molding and perfectly worn floors? i can't think of anyone.

My favorite part of our new master bedroom addition is definitely the Ikea Pax Wardrobe wall. At first we considered a walk-in closet for the 18X18 room, but ended up going for more floor space by doing one wall with nothing but custom storage space, something this house desperately lacks. Our new basement cabinets! We used Ikea Besta modular cabinets, with their high-gloss white doors, and push-to-open latches. They look like a sleek wall, but hide tons of toys and other stuff.
