The Sacred Mayan Journey recreates one of the most ancient traditions of the Mayan culture; the yearly pilgrimage of the Maya, who braved the ocean on their canoes and crossed to the island of Cozumel to worship the goddess Ixchel.

300 oarsmen will cross from Xcaret to Cozumel in order to recreate an ancient Mayan tradition. The even will close with the return of the oarsmen to Playa del Carmen. #TravesiaSagrada #MayanJourneyXcaret
