"Ladies and gentlemen, The Beatles... Let's bring them on!" (Ed Sullivan) It was fun to see the same wording from 50 years ago on the marquee of The Ed Sullivan Theater. This early Beatle classic went through my mind: "Close your eyes and I'll kiss you/Tomorrow I'll miss you..." ("All My Loving")
"Now, ever since I was a child/I can remember that mansion on the hill." ("Mansion on the Hill") At first glance, the Van Cortlandt Mansion reminded me of this Bruce Springsteen song. Gazing at the mansion, I thought about its historical significance. It is the oldest house in the Bronx. George Washington stayed there during the Revolutionary War!
If you want to know if someone is "real" tell them an obvious lie. A human will recognize it for what it is immediately, a cursed will not. They may look real, but they are not. Only real eyes realize real lies.
