French binding construction in full ivory carabú leather. The decoration was made with raised & recessed blue stained onlays. Edge to edge doublures in blue carabú leather with onlays. Handmade silk endbands. Clamshell made of a half ivory carabú leather & blue French Ingres paper labelled in mosaiques.

“Girl in the World” by Roberta Lavadour. 4.75 (h) x 3 (w) x 2.25 (d). Vintage atlas pages sewn on tapes with each gathering wrapped with a duotone silk screen image to form a complete image on the spine and allow the images to be viewed inside throughout the book. Covered with reclaimed leather that’s been scrunched to form a rustic and satisfying feel. Use it as a journal and write over the maps or just display it as is.

The Call of the Wild by Jack London – Illustrated by Paul Bransom, bound by Richard Tuttle. Rebound in a combination of cowhide & beaver fur covered boards complete w/ leather straps & old buckles. The leather has a very nice patina & will age beautifully. A label w/ the title & author is affixed to the spine. The endpapers are made of ruled composition paper from a student’s notebook w/ the back endpaper bearing the books title. 2012, 9.5” x 8”
