Fabio Napoleoni is the artist who created these interesting little critter paintings. I first saw his work in a gallery at Disney. Fabio's art is whimsical and filled with emotion. The little critter is a rag doll. He paints on canvas, takes a photo, sends the digital image to his printer for an edition of giclee prints which he signs with his name and a little drawing.
I included this picture for the creep factor more than anything, however, I think it also relates the archetypal monstrous woman. The whole notion of the monstrous feminine revolves around female power, however, I always found it interesting that if women have power and influence, it rarely results in good and is oftentimes associated with evil.
