On Track and On Target {with Tickled Pink in Primary}

At my old school we did Dibels assessments 3 times a year. In Kindergarten, students are tested on beginning sounds, nonsense words, letters, and phoneme segmentation. At the beginning of the year, I would progress monitor my RTI students on letter to help track their progress. MAP Test Resources

At my school we have all our students take the Measures of Academic Progress at the beginning, middle, and end of the year in reading and math. As I was browsing through Pinterest today, I found two wonderful sites from South Washington County Schools in Minnesota: MAP Reading and MAP Math. Five for Friday

I miss linking up with Kacey from Doodle Bugs Teaching. She's taking a break from Five for Friday for a little while. Despite the lack of linky, I plan to share five things from my week. It's just fun! The students wrote Christmas letters. We then placed the final copies of the letters into construction paper cards. I didn't take photos, but I thought I'd share one of my student's letters: Dear Mom and Dad, You've done so much for me. I am going to tell you all the stuff you've done for me…
