Yes we mainly do #oakflooring, but there are some interesting other timbers in our collection which should be overlooked such as Sucupira. Seen here in a herringbone pattern, this makes a hard-wearing floor with warm chocolate tones and a vivid grain. #sucupira

Our bespoke timber floors can be ordered in many different patterns, sizes and finishes. The new website shows you all the possibilities within a specific colour at a glance.

The boards in our Landmark collection are planed rather than sanded, which 'tears' the grain open, really celebrating the natural pattern of the timber. Applications of pigmented oils enhace the beauty of the grain further, as seen in this dark colour Ashridge.

Is it a painting? Is it a floor? Yes, it’s a painted floor! We call it ‘Pollock’ after the mid-century action painter. No floor for the fainthearted, but if you’re after something unusual, you know we’ve got it. And as we’re talking art – no Frieze tents this year but do pop over to Regents Park nonetheless this week to check the outdoor sculptures scattered throughout. #pollock

A textured floor is the perfect choice for a high traffic area like a kitchen. The normal wear and tear, scuffs and marks you can accept to happen here, are much less noticeable on a floor which is not super smooth to start off with. Our oak Tate has visible horizontal saw marks which make it a very forgiving surface in a domestic or even a commercial space. Don’t be fooled that this means a rustic look - as you see here it works well in a very sophisticated scheme too.
